Questions people ask
How do I find out what my house is worth?
Enter your postcode above. You get the actual sold prices for homes on your street from the official land registers, an instant estimate for your home, and what is listed for sale near you right now. Free, no signup.
What did the houses on my street sell for?
Every completed sale is recorded on the official sold-price registers, usually within a few weeks of completion. This tool shows the recorded sales for your street with dates and prices, so the evidence behind the estimate is on screen.
How accurate is an online house estimate?
An online figure is a starting point, not a valuation. Ours is built from what actually sold on and around your street rather than asking prices, and it always shows you the sales it used, so you can judge it yourself.
Where does the sold-price data come from?
The official registers: HM Land Registry Price Paid Data for England and Wales (© Crown copyright) and the Property Price Register (PSRA) for Ireland. Both update monthly, usually within a few weeks of a sale completing. Map positions are approximate, and the estimate is a guide built from recorded sales — not a formal valuation.
