Who is buying Ireland?

Every Irish property sale pays stamp duty, and the CSO publishes who the buyer was: a first-time buyer, a mover, a landlord or holiday-home buyer, or a company, fund or council. In 2025, 28% of homes weren't bought to live in. Pick your county — or type your Eircode — and see who's buying it, and what they paid.

Buyer type isn't nationality — a "non-household" buyer can be an Irish council as easily as a foreign fund. At Eircode level the CSO publishes household buyers only; the companies-and-funds split exists per county.
